Working mode of Ultrasonic Welding Transducer:

 

Due to different processing methods and requirements, the working mode of transducer can be roughly divided into continuous operation (lace machine, CD sleeve machine, zipper machine, metal welding, etc.) and pulse type work (such as plastic welding machine). Different working modes have different requirements for the transducer. Generally speaking, continuous operation has almost no pause time, but the working current is not very large. Pulse operation is intermittent, with pause, but the instantaneous current is very large. On average, the power in both States is very high.

 

Transducer type and maximum power

 

The manufacturer of the whole machine may have different regulations on the nominal power of machines for different purposes and purposes. In other words, the nominal power of the same transducer used in different machines may be different. In order to avoid ambiguity, the customer should specify the structural type of transducer, such as column type, inverted horn type, etc., as well as the diameter and number of piezoelectric ceramic wafers.

 

Installation and fit dimensions

 

There are mainly horn material, surface treatment, shape. Connecting thread between transducer and horn, connecting thread between horn and die, diameter, thickness, number and position of notch or screw hole at flange of horn.
