The shape of the welding head determines the amplitude of the end face of the welding head. According to different welding applications, welding head materials are divided into titanium alloy, aviation aluminum and alloy steel.

 

Titanium alloy is the best material for welding head because of its high strength and low loss.

Aluminum welding head is usually reduced by chromium plating, nickel plating, hard coating and other processes.

The steel welding head is suitable for socket welding, which requires low amplitude hardness.
